Magnetic paper scroll holder for notes and shopping list
thingiverse
Here is another paper scroll holder that's printed with no supports and features tiny pits on its back to hold magnets securely. To achieve a strong magnetic grip, I highly recommend using super powerful neodymium magnets. To ensure a smooth spinning motion, the inner diameter of the paper scroll should be at least 12mm, while the width of the paper should be less than 80mm. The post thickness is 11mm, so make sure to leave enough clearance for easy rotation. When it comes to magnet selection, opt for diameters under 9mm and a thickness of exactly 2mm. Even if you choose thicker magnets, they should still work fine. To enhance the writing experience, consider inserting thick paper at the back of the scroll. Print Settings: Printer: K8400 Rafts: None needed Supports: Not required Resolution: Set to 0.2mm for precise printing Infill: Use 15% infill for a strong yet lightweight design Notes: To avoid stringing, print at medium or low speed, especially in the area where the paper scroll passes through.
