Magnetic NotePad Holder

Magnetic NotePad Holder

thingiverse

This is a 3D printed notepad holder for lists on a magnetic surface, specifically designed for refrigerators. My wife was searching for ones to purchase but couldn't find any affordable options that could be refilled with standard paper. The design of this holder accommodates standard mini-notepads (measuring 3" x 5" and following the legal rule format) which come with tear-off sheets and a brim at the top. The top plate is slightly undersized to securely grasp the brim of the notepad, while the bottom plate is also slightly undersized to hold onto the backing cardboard of the pad (which can be removed). On the backside of the top plate, there are cut-outs for standard name badge magnets, which I purchased from Amazon. The link to these magnets is https://www.amazon.com/Applied-Magnets-Name-Badge-Neodymium/dp/B001O20V8E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1481493117&sr=8-2&keywords=applied+magnets. I only use the magnet side of these magnets and discard the steel portion, as they can be press-fitted or epoxied into place depending on the printer's output requirements.
