Mag-mount vice safety jaws (for the work, not you!) Currently fixed size, but other better parametric designs do exist on this platform. Designed to mount onto vice jaws and hold a pair of sacrificial wooden jaws securely in place. Parts: 4* M5 x 16 mm countersink bolts for a sturdy connection 4* 6 x 3 mm neodymium magnets from online marketplaces like eBay 2* Wood jaws, choose your preferred type (I used ply sheet ~8 mm thick) Assembly Instructions: 1) Press the magnets into the print with vice force (CA glue can be used if desired, but it's not necessary) 2) Place the printed part on the wood to be used, largest face down for optimal alignment 3) Mark the hole locations onto the wood with precision and accuracy 4) Drill and tap the wood to match the thread pitch of the M5 bolt chosen (I used M5 * 0.9, drilled to 4.00 mm then tapped) 5) Screw the jaw mounts onto the wood and enjoy a safe working experience (M5 bolts may need filing down so as not to protrude or use shorter bolts) Potential Issues: When clamping parts near bolts, the wood can compress, allowing the bolt to protrude and mark the part.
