Magnetic Marble Run Wall Components
thingiverse
These marble run components were crafted to enable my 7th-grade students to explore and practice with a magnetic marble run wall. They were then tasked with creating their own components using Tinkercad, which we later printed out and presented to the lower school for their marble run wall. If you'd like to learn more about this project, visit: http://www.creatorsstudio.org/special-projects/category/marble-run Most of these models were designed to print without supports. I used a Lulzbot Taz 6 with either PLA or NGEN filament. Magnets were attached to the pieces afterward. * Please note: Model #7 did not print well on my Taz 6, while all others printed fine. ** The Marble Run Catcher was designed by one of our Lucas Scholars in summer 2016.
