Magnetic "Lock" for ZooMed Vivariums
thingiverse
I created a simple magnetic lock using magnets that were glued in place. Next, I attached the inner parts to the glass enclosure with glue and then placed the L-shaped locking mechanism outside to secure everything together tightly. The original locking system had failed, so I removed it to allow the door to swing open freely. Initially, I attempted to insert an object into the hole left by the plastic cover, but this still allowed the upper part of the front glass to be accidentally opened. Since I'm housing venomous snakes inside, I wanted to ensure their safety. Hence, I came up with this quick and easy solution. I apologize for my poor English description.
