Magnetic life counter
thingiverse
This is a simplified version of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3021811 with holes sized to fit magnets of diameter 1 cm and thickness 1 mm, basically because i had a bunch of those lying around. The bottom hole of the rotor is slightly deeper than the top one to make it easier to remove supports, it is also possible to fit two stacked magnets if you like a stronger hold. The magnets should fit in place easily, if there is too much play they can be glued, if the hole turns out to be too snug i found that pushing them gently in place with the tip of a low heat soldering iron does not bother the rotor and gives a good end result (tested on PLA)
