Magnetic Latch
thingiverse
I've got a magnetic latch for securing doors in place that I use on my closet doors with those pesky balls that constantly get jammed. To keep them functioning smoothly, I'm using 0.25" by 0.25" cylindrical neodymium magnets sourced from Amazon, which necessitate tiny wood screws. The magnet positioned parallel to the surface might need a dab of super glue to keep it securely in place. Since these designs are created in inches, you'll likely need to scale them up for your slicer.
