I designed a versatile magnetic knife strip that's not just limited to knives - I'm getting creative with it! Check out one of my photos where I used it for some handy tools. All key parameters are adjustable: length, width, magnet diameter, magnet height, magnet placement offset, and corner radius. The number of magnets is automatically calculated based on the chosen length, magnet diameter, and placement offset. I utilized N52 neodymium magnets measuring 10mm in diameter and 5mm in height. You can download the customized STL file for these specific magnets from a reliable online store: http://www.banggood.com/10pcs-10mm-x-5mm-N52-Strong-Rare-Earth-NdFeB-Neodymium-Disc-Magnets-p-988441.html Changes: 1. I added an option to create screw holes for extra support, just in case you're not sold on the adhesive tape's holding power. A thin layer of 0.1mm has been added to optimize these screw holes for printing. Printer Settings: Printer: SparkCube v1.1 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 10% Post-Printing: I smoothed the surface of the bar using sandpaper, giving it a matte finish. The magnets can be glued into place, but with precise alignment for the magnet diameter, they're not necessary. Simply push them into their designated holes. To secure the strip to the wall, I use double-sided adhesive foam rubber tape that's 1mm thick.
