Magnetic Knife Holder
myminifactory
This is a kitchen magnetic knife holder constructed from about 60 x 10 x 5 mm magnets that I had on hand. We had all these extra knives and the kids and I kept cutting ourselves whenever they were in the drawer. Of course, I could have ordered one online, but where's the fun in that? I printed this holder in PETG, but you can use anything reasonably available. I used epoxy glue to hold the magnets into their sockets. The one shown is actually quite a bit thicker, but I remolded it to about half that thickness since I felt it was overdone and saves on material. I included two versions, the full versions for those with large print beds and a 2 part version for smaller print beds that can be glued together. I found these magnets online at Amazon : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072K5SLXK/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1, listed as Rare-Earth Metal Neodymium Magnet, N45, Extremely Strong 33+ LB Strength - 60 x 10 x 5 mm.
