Magnetic Holder for Meat Thermometer
thingiverse
I got fed up with my meat thermometer collecting dust in a cluttered drawer or awkwardly perched on the counter, so I took matters into my own hands and created a magnetic holder to keep it neatly stored on the side of my refrigerator. It's carefully designed specifically for this thermometer, meaning the likelihood of it working seamlessly with other shapes and types is relatively low. I'm sharing it mainly to spark inspiration in others and encourage them to create their own versions. You can find the exact same magnets used in this project on Amazon - a great resource for any random project or DIY endeavor. The magnetic holder uses four 8x3 magnets, stacked 2x2 and carefully pushed into the cavity from the bottom. This secure arrangement keeps the fridge firmly in place while also gently yet firmly securing the thermometer's probe.
