Magnetic Headphone Cable Guide
thingiverse
My headphone cord always got tangled on my office chair. This often ripped the headphones from my ears. I also often rolled over the cable, which is certainly not good for it. Fortunately, with this cable guide, that no longer happens. In order that I do not have to fix it permanently to my table, however, I have designed the clip with magnets. So I can remove it after use and when looking from above there is nothing to see on the table. The lateral rails on the table ensure a very strong hold of the magnets. I taped the magnets and the rail to the table with double-sided tape. The magnets in the clip I glued with superglue and baking soda as reinforcement. I also designed a version for permanent screwing as an alternative. The hole diameter is 14 mm, so that Mini-XLR or 6.3 mm jack plugs fit through. Dimension of the magnets: 10 x 20 x 2 mm
