This is a streamlined drop-in auto bed leveling probe for most Prusa i3s with vertical X gantries. Simply print out this design, add a 1/4"x1/4" magnet to the slide component, attach one small disk magnet (supplied with the sensors) into the top hole, and secure your hall sensor in place using zip ties or bolts! It boasts tight tolerances to the frame at the top, yet remains a comfortable 1mm away at full height. To complete this project, just use an appropriately sized steel rod or nail for the probe itself. One of its most attractive features is how effortless disassembly is, thanks to the magnet holding the probe's rod in place! It even auto-retracts, eliminating the need for servos! Enjoy your newly upgraded Prusa i3! NOTES: 1.) Depending on tolerances, you might need to flip the side of the sensor that the header's attached to. This is not a difficult task, but it's good to know about from the start. 2.) You'll want to switch over to printed PLA LM8UU bearings on the X gantry or IGUS equivalents.
