A Simple Magnetic Flight Stand Design for Easy Storage and Display of Star Fleet Battles Miniatures. This design allows users to detach their ships from the base, making it easier to store them safely. The magnetic flight stand was originally created in SketchUp and then ported over to Tinkercad, so both versions are available for download. The magnet fits perfectly into place, but an added touch of superglue will keep it secure. Users can find the magnets I used at Amazon: a 6.5mm Cylinder Magnet that fits perfectly with the design.
