magnetic flashlight mount

Holder for 27.5mm flashlight. Knobs and Ball Socket Base should be printed at 100% infill. The Flashlight Clamp can be printed at just 10% infill. To achieve a smoother surface on the ball socket, I opted for a .06mm layer height - it works beautifully even at lower resolution settings. For the knobs, I used #4-40x3/4" machine screws, while a #4x3/8 sheet metal screw holds the magnet to the Ball Socket Base. The hole spacing is 13mm center to center. To secure hex nuts into recesses in the knob, simply press them firmly - I just heated a pair of pliers on my stove and applied gentle pressure until the surface was flush. When installing the ball into its socket, you'll need to apply some force, but it shouldn't be too difficult. After assembly, some sanding may be required to smooth out any bumps on the Flashlight Clamp's surface.
