Magnetic feet for the DROP ALT, SHIFT and CTRL keyboards
thingiverse
I adore my DROP ALT keyboard, but I discovered it was a bit too flat, so I designed a pair of feet that lift and angle it slightly more. They reuse the screws and magnets from the original feet of the DROP ALT keyboard model MDX-22176, resulting in a super stable and enjoyable typing experience with no side sliding or detaching. To achieve this, you need to add 1cm diameter rubber feet to prevent scratching or sliding on the table. I haven't tested them on the SHIFT and CTRL keyboards, but I assume they should fit as well. If you test them, please let me know. I've included the STEP file so you can adjust the inclination, change the rubber feet diameter, or modify it to fit your model. EDIT 20/05/2020: I added v7 with a bracket to prevent the USB cable from accidentally snapping the USB port away. A small support now keeps the cable in place. The STL includes the left foot; mirror it in your slicer for the right foot.
