I think lunix80's idea is fantastic, but unfortunately, I encountered two problems. Firstly, I didn't have any 8mm magnets on hand, which was a major setback. Secondly, the screw holes in lunix80's parts were listed as 31mm, whereas I had calculated them to be 32mm, which meant I needed to start from scratch with a new design for 10x3mm magnets. I designed the fan holder entirely anew using FreeCad and included the file in STEP format so it can be easily imported into any CAD software and customized as needed. I decided to pass on lunix80's cable-less solution, even though it's an excellent concept, because I already have a connector on my cable, which makes it redundant.
