Magnetic End Delta rods
thingiverse
I needed to modify 200mm carbon fiber rods to fit my delta Anycubic Linear Plus, which requires rods of exactly 268mm in length. I used Duet Smart Effector, so the new rod size was a must-have. The rods should have a diameter of 6 mm, but I measured them with a caliper and found they were actually 5.9 mm in diameter. The magnets I needed to attach also had specific dimensions: 12 mm in diameter, exactly 11.9 mm when measured precisely. These magnets stood at 3.7 mm high. To produce the modified rods, I relied on my printer's capabilities, printing them with 100% infill and a total of five shells.
