Magnetic Ear Adaptors for Geek-Chic Earrings
myminifactory
One thing I've taken on board from feedback so far is that people love my Geek-Chic Earrings but want to know what happens if they don't have pierced ears? Well, let's just say I'm not one to ignore my audience. Using the same strong neodymium magnets I use for coasters, I came up with these tiny adaptors that allow anyone to wear them. You simply remove any ear hook that might be attached, slip the earring into a small slot on the adaptor and then attach it to your earlobe using one of the powerful magnets. The other magnet goes on the front of the earring, holding everything in place through even the most energetic dance moves. I've priced them individually and also in bulk, so you can get as many as you need at once. The downside is that these adaptors will cause some discomfort if worn for too long, simply because they're pinching your earlobe together. To avoid this, make sure to take them off regularly and let your skin recover before putting them back on. The magnetic force itself won't harm your body, but the pressure could cut off blood flow, so be careful not to overdo it. Also, don't forget to remove these adaptors before making a phone call - neodymium magnets are incredibly strong and can damage both screens and internal electronics if they get too close. I'm selling these adaptors, as well as my full range of Geek-Chic Earrings, through my Etsy store at www.etsy.com/uk/shop/enterprisexddesign.
