Magnetic E3D Nozzle Holder
thingiverse
This compartment was engineered to cradle the tool and the 10 nozzles that came bundled with the E3D V6 and Volcano kit I purchased online. Unfortunately, I don't have images of the Volcano nozzles available for viewing at this time. Ten strong magnets are used to secure this component to the printer, ensuring a sturdy fit. For reference, these specific magnets can be sourced from the following Ebay vendor: https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-10pcs-20pcs-Strong-Small-Disc-Magnets-5x2mm-Round-Rare-Earth-Neodymium-/390980266835?var=&hash=item5b083d6b53:m:meeV3HkdObqlwZ-0yjKoxbw I have no affiliation with this Ebay seller beyond purchasing the 5x2mm magnets from their platform. Another vendor would serve just as well in this capacity. To attach the magnets, I used a strong adhesive, specifically superglue, to secure them in place. In order to achieve a smooth finish on my part, I performed some minor sanding to compensate for any defects that may have resulted from printing with my current setup. The original print job was executed using 0.15 mm layers, a 0.4mm nozzle, and 20% infill.
