<p>This is one of a series of dust collection ports that can be found at this link:<br><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/social/79444-peter-h/collections/105044">DUST COLLECTION FITTINGS.</a><br><br>If you require a matching fitting to connect to a 4" flexible duct it can be found at this link:</p><p><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/129100-magnetic-dust-collection-fitting-to-suit-4-100mm-f">MAGNETIC DUST COLLECTION FITTING TO SUIT 4" (100MM ) FLEXIBLE DUCTING</a></p><p>It's clear opening matches a standard four inch (100mm) pvc drainage system and the outer flange is designed to fit into any standard female PVC connection fitting.<br><br>I have made a series of simple insert bands to adapt PVC fittings to machinery outlets with have different diameters outlets so that I can use a single fitting style throughout my workshop. &nbsp;Some are included in these files by way of example.</p><p>Some would prefer the greater flexibility of PETG in this environment, however in my home workshop I've been using these for over a year without any issue.</p><p>You will need 12 no. &nbsp;6mm x 8mm(diameter) magnets for each fitting. &nbsp;The magnets are a firm push fit and should not require any glue - the holes in the base of each magnet recess will allow removal if necessary for any reason, and there is room to add an extra magnet in each recess if magnetic power reduces over time, or if a stronger connection is required.</p><p>I recommend fitting each alternative magnet in opposite poles - that will make disconnection very easy, by simply twisting the pieces until they meet their opposite number!</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
