Magnetic Door Lock, Magnet Holder (30x2mm Neodymium)

Human: Custom Magnet Holder/Enclosure for Round 30X2mm Neodymium Magnets. I designed a magnetic lock for my printer enclosure, pairing it with those LACK risers from Thingiverse. The risers can hold 10mm round magnets on the inside, but finding a suitable magnet holder for the outside magnet was a challenge, so I created one myself. Dimensions at full scale are 35X35x3mm, featuring a 30.5x2mm cavity. There is both a centered version and one with an off-center cavity, ideal for corner placement. I printed this design using two colors - Violet-Metallic for the first few layers and Black for the rest. Prepare your model in your preferred slicer (Cura was my choice), locate the last layer with the "3D" cutout at a .2 layer height, around the third layer, and either pause printing after finishing that layer via G-Code or manually stop the print and change filament, taking care not to bump the building plate. Usage is straightforward: attach a magnet on the inside (I used 10x3mm paired with the 30x2mm for optimal performance through 3mm acrylic and 4mm PVC-Foam panels) and secure the outer 30x2mm magnet in the holder's cavity. Glue the inner magnet at the back of the holder, then attach the holder to your door using Superglue. I'd love to see other print variations (especially with unique color combinations), so please share your Makes!
