Magnetic dish brush holder

Magnetic dish brush holder

thingiverse

This is a simple yet extremely effective magnetic dish brush holder. I prefer it significantly over my previous non-magnetic design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3152007 Instructions: This design requires 4x 25x10x3mm neodymium magnets, which can be easily obtained on eBay. A pack of 10 magnets costs approximately 4 USD. Simply attach two magnets to the printed piece and position two other magnets on the opposite side of the sink. Smaller magnets will also work, but they won't offer as much strength. Tip: Attach the magnets to the backside of the sink if they're not hanging by themselves. This way, you can remove the dish brush holder without the magnets falling into the cabinet. My IKEA sink is apparently magnetic enough for the two magnets to stick on their own, so I didn't need any glue or tape. Please leave a comment with suggestions for improving this design. V2: Modified design featuring magnets inside a slot instead of on the outside. Depending on your printer, they fit snugly or require a bit of glue at the end before insertion.
