The design incorporates a delta effector that utilizes magnetic joints, standardizing on a 50mm distance between the rods for optimal performance. Careful attention is required when drilling mounting holes as they are precision-cut and should be enlarged to fit securely. Nut-traps are designed specifically for M4 nuts, ensuring a snug fit. The hotend can be mounted using standard M3 screws spaced at a 25mm radius; screwheads are recessed by 4mm in diameter with a depth of 6mm to prevent interference. Three additional mounting points accommodate M4 screws, ideal for attaching a bed probe or other accessories. An optional design features a mounting point for a string or spring that tensions the diagonal rod, similar to the Cherry Pi setup. This mounting point also accepts an M4 nut. A corresponding Solidworks file is available, created using the 2014-2015 edition of Solidworks Student Edition.
