Magnetic Dart to be used with a white board as a target

For an exhibit, I required a secure dart game utilizing a drawing on a whiteboard or flipchart as target. The concept was to affix a magnet to one of the dart designs found online. However, this did not function well because the darts flew poorly and bounced off the whiteboard. I replicated another idea from the internet by incorporating a paper tail and attaching a "spring" around the magnet to slow its descent before reaching the board. This prevents bouncing. I printed it in PLA with supports, without rafts or brims. A neodymium 10 x 5 mm disc magnet was utilized. The magnet was secured using a type of mounting adhesive. Experimentation with various adhesives is necessary to discover the optimal one. Update: Upon testing this design in reality, it became apparent that the spring is extremely brittle and breaks after several throws. Refer to my other magnetic dart design, which employs a foam ring as damping material for a more effective solution.
