Magnetic Curtain Rod Holder
thingiverse
We installed a sturdy steel door, securing a curtain in place using magnetic holders. However, one of them malfunctioned, prompting me to extract the magnet from the broken piece. I then employed my calipers for precise measurements, leading me to design a replacement that would securely hold the salvaged magnet. Using 3M double-sided tape, I fastened the new holder to the door, ensuring a secure fit. After painting the new addition to blend in with its predecessor, everything functioned seamlessly. For those interested, finding an alternative magnet and printing a custom solution allows individuals to tailor their curtain placement on steel doors or other suitable surfaces, using 20% infill and minimal supports that effortlessly detach from the mounting area.
