Magnetic Corne System
thingiverse
I used someone else's design for a backplate and switch plate and wanted some feet to tent it a bit. These snap on. You can mirror it to get the other side. You can generate different heights in the scad file. All of these are meant to have some foam tape or something similar on the bottom so they won't slide around. I have also added a one piece design that has the backplate and tenting in a single STL. The backplate STL comes from the design I remixed this from. It is used as input for the scad so that the feet will be nice and snug. March 2023: Magnets! I've added a backplate that has holes for 8mm circular magnets. I put magnet holes on the feet as well so that they can attach that way. I've also made a flat one-piece option that attaches with magnets. The plan is to work on a bunch of different options that will attach magnetically. I stuck the magnets in with superglue. I wasn't thinking when I first put this together and I put all of the magnets in the same way. But if you put them in one way on one half and the other on the other half, then you can stick the boards together. This might be useful for carrying it around. I'm trying to keep this up to date but its primary home is here: https://github.com/ferrance/corne_case
