Magnetic Connecting Shapes
thingiverse
These versatile magnetic shapes - squares, triangles, hexagons and octagons - snap together effortlessly to form complex designs. At each intersection point, a sturdy 6mm spherical compartment holds securely in place a freely rotating 5mm magnetic sphere. This clever design enables the shapes to connect seamlessly with one another. Crafted from durable TPU, these shapes are incredibly fun, flexible and virtually indestructible. They feel great in your hand as you play with them. To install the magnetic balls, set your slicer to pause printing at the layer above the 6mm mark. This creates a safe space for the ball to slide into its compartment without interfering with the nozzle. The magnetic spheres used are taken from an original batch of Buckyballs, which were recalled due to safety issues.
