Magnetic Clasp for 2 mm Elastic Cord. Two neodymium magnets, measuring 5 mm x 5 mm x 5 mm, are inserted into the plastic material without glue. The magnets' orientation is critical to achieve a smooth rotation between them. Use a small vice to press them firmly in place. The clasp's dimensions are diameter 12mm and height 16.4mm. Print this design with a layer height of 0.2 mm using an STL file or *.rsdoc DSM file. When assembling the clasp, thread the elastic cord through its hole and secure it with a knot. Cut off any excess cord. Repeat this process for the second part of the clasp. The final image demonstrates a typical application. The upper portion of the elastic cord runs over the back of the head without attaching to the magnetic clasp. To secure the mask in place, pull both ends of the cord together and tie them at the neck.
