I've been using the Mountek Snap smartphone mount in my car for over a year now. Lately, the part that holds the magnetic plate gave way, so I decided not to buy an entire new system just to replace one broken component - that would be wasteful. Instead, I designed a replacement myself. This new part attaches securely to your dashboard with screws or nuts and bolts, which means it won't be as easily interchangeable as the original design. Still, for my needs, this has been working perfectly all day long since I printed and uploaded it yesterday.
