Magnetic Building Board Lever Clamp

Magnetic stand-off clamp for model builders that use a magnetic building board. It utilizes common cabinet magnet latch magnets, available from sources such as https://www.allelectronics.com/item/mag-123/cabinet-latch-magnet/1.html. EDIT: February 4, 2018. The above magnets appear to be sold out. Regular ceramic rectangles can also work well, and a source is available at https://supermagnetman.com/collections/fer-rectangle/products/rect0750c-20?variant=29741050307. These magnets are listed as 0.770 inches (19.56mm) long x 0.593 inches (15.06mm) wide x 0.118 inches (3mm) thick. When using two of these magnets sandwiched together, they can serve as a substitute for the original latch magnets if needed. The arm is threaded with an M4 screw thread, but it's possible to rethread it to any reasonable size. The lever arm slides into the slotted bracket, allowing this setup to produce significant downward force.
