magnetic building board-Adjustable hold downs

A new attachment has been created for you. This attachment replaces or supplements the magnetic building board-Adjustable hold downs, which had a maximum thickness limit of 6.5mm or just over a 1/4 inch. These attachments go up to 20mm or 3/4 inch in thickness, at which point switching to single or dual pole hold downs would be necessary. The attachment flips 180° to accommodate all sizes between 0mm and 20mm. It can still be used the same way as the older version, which will remain available if needed. Hold down is perfect for balsa strips or sheets of varying thickness, accommodating all measurements. A 3/16 elongated hole fits perfectly on standard building board magnets, as shown in the picture. Wing nuts, standard nuts, or a lock nut can be used to secure the hold-down, allowing you to slide it up and down for different thicknesses. The plastic Hold-down can also be gently placed onto the wood before rolling it until the required pressure is achieved. I've changed my attachment method using half-profile nuts and small pieces of silicone fuel tubing to hold the desired pressure on the sliding piece. Check out the picture for details. Printer Settings: Brand: Up! Model: Up Mini Rafts: Not necessary Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 40% Notes: I used medium resolution 0.25mm, and the desirable outcome of this process is that layer ridges from the printer help hold the Balsa against magnet plates. A #10 bolt or a 3/16 bolt with a length of 16mm will be necessary. Depending on the brand, you may need to grind down the head slightly.
