Magnetic brake mod for VKB T-Rudder pedals MK.IV

<p>My friend had an idea for a magnet mod for the VKB T-Rudder pedals for helicopter use. Intention was to make this simple, cheap, easy to take off when not needed and to not make any permanent changes to the pedals.</p><p>I'm not quite happy with the plateholder yet but this seems to work well enough already.</p><p>Jubuttib (the friend mentioned above) also made an instructions video for this:&nbsp;</p><figure class="media"><oembed url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIV-tATJvy4"></oembed></figure><p>Parts needed:</p><ul><li>Magnet. 32mm diameter neodymium magnet used in this case.</li><li>Metal plate, I had a 40x120x2,3mm nailing plates at hand and that is a pretty good size for this.</li><li>2x zip ties, max width 4mm.</li></ul><p>STL files are aligned as I've printed them. Magnet holder doesn't need supports but plate holder will.</p><p>Fusion 360 file is also available. You should be able to edit it for different size magnets somewhat easily.
