Magnetic braille blocks - Text
pinshape
A practice set for characters and texts. The blocks are designed with both Latin characters and braille, making them accessible to people who cannot read braille. They can use these blocks to practice themselves or with a blind person. The Latin character is removable and can be used for tracing using a fine-tip marker or mechanical pencil. People can use the blocks as they are or stick magnetic tape on them to attach to metal boards, fridges, steel tables, etc. The set includes A to Z and a generic block that can be adapted for other characters by removing the appropriate braille dots and type indication. People can write the applicable character on the blocks or use stickers for this purpose. In addition to this set, there are sets available for calculus, punctuation marks, and blanks for other languages. Check the library for these options. Blocks can be glued together to form common words. These blocks can be printed using a FDM printer with 0.1 mm layer height, but a SLA/DLP printer will produce a nicer result.
