Magnetic Beehive Key Holder

Magnetic Beehive Key Holder

Time ago, I drew inspiration from "https://www.behance.net/gallery/16925735/Honey-Im-Home" (and many posts on this site) to design a key holder that resembles a beehive. After using it for over a year, I decided to give it another try and here's the result. There are numerous key holders on this site, but I think this one can be useful for someone else. This key holder features five magnetic slots (yellow) and multiple standard slots (brown). To accommodate the standard slots, I created two different key plugs: one with a loop and one with a hook. Both types fit perfectly, although the standard plugs are slightly deeper to compensate for the lack of magnetic force. Nevertheless, they won't fall from the hive. The design makes it easy to plug and unplug keys without them being too loose or tight. The colors I used help distinguish between those who hold a magnet, but you can also print it in a single color if desired. Hooks proved to be very handy and it's worth printing a few of them. For the magnets, I utilized two types of Neodymium Rare Earth Magnets (which are extremely strong): BaseWall.stl: 15mm diameter and 1.7mm height KeyMagnetic.stl: 12mm diameter and 2.7mm height I purchased a kit containing many magnets on Amazon, which can be found here: https://www.amzn.com/B07D1QPS1N You can print the base and standard slots with hooks and add the magnets later (or not at all). I've also added WallBase-NoMagnets.stl as an alternative base version without magnet holes. I hope you find this design useful and look forward to seeing your creation.
