To use these you need the Tidy Town terrain by Digital Taxidermy located at https://www.digitaltaxidermy.co.uk/tidy-town-modular-terrain-storage-transport-system.html. I'm a big fan of terrain that is also storage due to space constraints and the need to transport my armies. That said, I prefer to use magnetic trays for my models and want to be able to switch out the trays for different armies. So far I have: A tray for 32mm based models A tray for 40mm based models A tray for 90mm based models A tray for transporting 2 Dreadnoughts (64mm bases) and 2 Thunderfire Cannons (which I have on custom 80x50mm square bases and stored vertically) with their operators (32mm bases) To use these I glue 8mm magnets in the holes on the bottom of the trays, making sure they all have the same polarity. Then I attach 8mm magnets to those and put a little super glue on the bottom of the 2nd set of magnets which I then put into the Tidy Town terrain to glue the second set of magnets inside the terrain/box. After that I make sure that all magnets on all my trays have the same polarity so I can swap them between containers as I wish. For the models I also make sure the polarity matches on all the magnets both in my trays and on my models. It's not too hard to check the polarity between trays and models, and because I've been doing this since the beginning I have strong magnet to magnet connections whenever I transport my models.
