Magnetic Baby Lock Key for Watch Band

<p>We've got these great magnetic baby locks on our kitchen cabinets and drawers, but I was getting tired of having to reach and grab the big magnet that served as the lock "key" every time I needed to open something when I was working in the kitchen. So to solve that, I came up with this design. 2 magnets are inserted into the print during the printing process, and then the key is able to slip onto a watch band (it fits my Apple Watch) for easy access.</p> <p>This design is meant to insert 2 8mm x 3mm magnets into the pocket during the printing process, but I've upload the STEP file so you can change it to fit whatever you need.</p> <p>How to insert these magnets in the process? What I did was when I sliced the model, using the preview, I found the layer right before the "pocket" was covered in the printing process. At .2mm, I found that to be layer 69.
