Imagine yourself the following: You're sitting on the couch whatching your show, a beer in your hand, enjoying life and mostly your precious "me" time. Then all of a sudden you get interupted by your SO (insert-learning-moment-here). All of a suddon she has a task for you to do, a month before your planned family-vacation "Can you please (well-knowingly-its-not-a-question) remove the (yes-i-know-its-way-to-big-for-my-car) subwoofer out of the trunk so we(only her) can....(you can fill in the rest) Happy wife = happy *blank*. so i walked to the car, and then.... ...i realize im in a *potentionally paradox* situation and this one small question could turn out way worse. What if she asking, and me agreeing to this makes her wanting to remove the thing even more often then only for the holiday. I felt trapped, she got me... this wasnt the plan.. I WAS WATCHING TV and enjoying life. Is she really trying to take over "me" time, hoping i wont notice? i need a way for her to be able to do it herself without tools, so i can take my life back (or atleast the whole minute it would take to "just" do it). TLDR; i got distracted for all men..., and started modeling. Some quick thinking later the best logical way for me was to spend hours creating something which could potentionaly save me a whole minute of time, for about 10 times in my lifetime (maybe more if i cant find a screwdriver). Why: Mostly because why not, and mostly magnets..., because magnets.... Wait... ME TIME, i got distracted again. I mean "me"time, that was the reasoning why. Solution: - a quick-release connector, - which couldn't be connected the wrong way (since 2 wires is hardcore technical stuff), - Doesn't need tools to remove/move/install the enclosure from my trunk. (i-know-regularly-its-not-a-big-hassle-screw-or-twistbutton) Added side-affect-bonusses: - She can now do it all by herself after showing her just one time..., - The look of defeat in her eyes, or was it because i got distracted.. ahh mehh, result is the same. - Her pride is strong, she never asked me again. Fully knowing i would do it without questioning because of the weight. Settings / pictures will be added later. p.s.: The story is BS, i'm actually a pretty nice and respectfull guy according to my SO.
