1/21/2018 - There is a new version of this up with a number of improvements! (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2765178) This case is designed for use the iPad Pro and more specifically with the iPad Pro Smart Keyboard. It houses the Pencil, the end cap, the charging adapter, and two tips and adheres magnetically to the keyboard. The pictures given show the assembly. 4 magnets are placed in the base in their corresponding locations. The tray then slides into the base and holds the magnets in place under the pencil area. 3 magnets are then pushed all the way into the rectangular holes on both the base and the lid. It is recommended to use tweezers or something similar to push the magnets fully into position. All the magnets used are 8mm diameter X 3mm height neodymium magnets. (example: http://www.magnets365.com/50pcs-x-strong-disc-fridge-rare-earth-8mm-x-3mm-neodymium-magnets-n35.html) The example shown has a wet sanded lid, giving it the dull look. Note: This is not a perfect piece, there are known improvements that could be made, but it does work. Please feel free to comment and make suggestions. The more people comment / attempt to make this, the more likely I am to continue improving it.
