# Tabletop Dungeon Tile Magnetic Adapter This is a simple addition that is meant to slip into the bottom of 3D-Printed RPG Dungeon Tiles such as Fat Dragon Games' Dragonlock Tiles to house a small magnet flush with the bottom of the piece. Couple this with a large magnetic white board or even some sheet metal, and you now have an way to place your terrain that lets you easily move it from room-to-room between sessions. Additionally, it's a very easy way to create dungeons on-the-fly as you won't need to fiddle with the locking system. The piece is a simple triangle with an tight inset hole that should (for the most part) friction fit a corresponding magnet, and then the combined piece snaps in to the underside of the tile. ## Helpful Tips: - These are sized for 8mm x 2mm donut magnets. If found mine from DIYMAG on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09T9181NC?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) - You may need to take a hobby knife and trim away any elephants footing on the understand of your tiles to make the triangle fit. In other cases, you make need to glue the unit to the under to ensure it stays in place. - On occasion the strength of the magnet will overcome the friction and unseat from its hole. A little super glue can help here of course, or if you find the glue isn't holding to the plastic as well, I've also added a little plug you can glue (plastic-to-plastic that further helps keep the magnet in place. - Finally, for maximum strength you want to make sure the magnet is flush with the bottom of the tile. If you notice there is a small gap, add a plastic shim (a cut up piece of raft material works well) underneath the triangle can help lift the magnet holder to a better position. If you still find the magnet is not strong enough to hold the tile firmly, simply print and add additional magnet adapters.
