This is a streamlined approach to hooking up and breaking down dust hoses for woodworking projects. Specifically designed for 4 inch diameter hose, this model utilizes eight 2.75x10 mm rare earth magnets strategically placed on one side to perfectly align with a matching connector (as shown in the accompanying image). The total count of 16 magnets ensures a strong connection on both sides. It's essential to carefully match the polarity (+ and -) on each side to guarantee a secure fit. To assemble, I press each magnet firmly into its designated hole using a pair of pliers. Applying a drop of CA glue to each hole before pressing the magnets in is also a recommended step. The distinctive pattern etched onto the edge serves as a valuable guide when attaching the two sides together.
