A genius nocturnal idea by https://www.thingiverse.com/Baron_Nounours/ This simple tool will help you align your magnets the right way when using the Magnetic X Carriage. It works by inserting 2 or 3 magnets in its ends. The ribbed end will hold a magnet to be used on the magnetic hotend holder side, and the other end (with 2 holes) can hold 2 magnets to be inserted in the carriage. If you haven't inserted anything in the carriage or hotend holder yet, just randomly push a magnet into the ribbed end. Then use that freshly set magnet to capture another one. Insert that magnet at the side of the other end of the tool, with the attracted side facing out. Repeat with a third magnet if you want to also use the remaining end. If your carriage and hotend insert are already equipped with magnets, separate the hotend from the carriage, then place a free magnet against the carriage. Next, push-fit the non ribbed side of the tool over that magnet. Repeat with the other magnet slot of the non ribbed end. Now present an available magnet against the equipped end of the tool. The side that sticks to the embedded magnet has to be the side facing outside, at the ribbed end.
