MAGNET MOTOR ROTOR CYLINDER

MAGNET MOTOR ROTOR CYLINDER

thingiverse

I'm getting into magnets big time, so I built a cylinder for testing purposes. It's the V-gate type, not deep enough for Perendev due to the holes. The size is 180 diameter by 105 high, making it easily printable with even a Graber i3. I used 10% infill at 0.2mm thickness. This design utilizes 608 skateboard bearings measuring 22x8x7mm, which are readily available. You can also use 5/16 rod from Home Depot if needed. I'm planning to use aluminum rod for this project. Hopefully, this will help someone unlock the secrets of magnetism. The print hasn't started yet, but I've double-checked the dimensions – only 7 hours to go! If you need any further assistance, feel free to download the STEP and 123D files included with this post.
