Magnet Maglev Train and Tracks

This is my maglev train, built with my daughter for the 2nd grade science fair and it won first place. We used 1/2 by 1/4 by 3/8 Neodymium Magnets that slide into the car and track via a channel and then lock in with the included tab at the end. The larger track has 11 magnets, the smaller track has 9 magnets, and the car has 3 magnets. We added lead to the bottom of the car for extra weight and stuffed all the tracks with magnets before gluing them together inline. Have fun building your own maglev train!
