Magnet Cover
thingiverse
I wanted to build "skyhooks" for our veranda, which has a tin roof. Since magnets don't like moisture or bumps, I needed to create a protective shield. This also helps prevent rust or iron filings from sticking directly to the magnet. All while still allowing me to use the eyelet. I purchased these online at eBay. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/5-Types-60Kg-Neodymium-Recovery-Magnet-Metal-Detector-Treasure-Hunting-Fishing/282593163184?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=581769652093&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 The small groove is intentional, allowing you to seal the magnet completely with silicone or your preferred adhesive.
