Magnet Ball

Magnet Ball

thingiverse

I keep this container for a powerful rare Earth magnet, measuring 20mm*20mm*20mm in size. On their own, these magnets collide and rattle loudly, and are so fragile that they shatter easily. To prevent damage, I wrap each one in an old sock or similar material before using them to pick up nails and other debris. Alternatively, I swing the magnet around on the floor when I drop something small, and it can often be used to retrieve the item. Unfortunately, my current magnet is nowhere to be found, but it typically turns up after years of being stuck to a chair leg in some hidden location.
