MagneFlex Prusa Isolation Feet - Gen1
thingiverse
Inspired by one of Stefan @CNCKitchen's videos about vibration isolation for his Prusa and a contest this week for using magnets in a design, I thought it would be fun to explore the idea of using magnetically-stiffened flexure feet for my Prusas instead of the boring foam I had previously :) I have some additional plans for adding damping and maybe improving the interface to the printer, but I put a set of this design under each of my printers and have been using them the last couple of days. Not sure the print performance is any better, but at least now they look complicated! I'll probably do some testing/playing around with this variant for a bit before modifying them, I'd welcome any ideas or suggestions! [I've put some build info here, for the magnets and such, and I'll also use that page to note any tests, mods, etc. ](https://bubsbuilds.notion.site/Prusa-Magnetic-Vibration-Isolators-786c2f74c100434ab88cd83ee62711da)
