I recently discovered that the sound quality on my EVO phone leaves much to be desired, particularly when using the speaker, which is located on the rear of the device. In fact, placing myself directly in front of the screen tends to make things worse, as I am bombarded by a barrage of sound emanating from behind the phone. My recent design for a stand offers a creative solution by reflecting sound back around towards me while positioned horizontally with my EVO in front. One potential area of improvement I am considering involves adding an accommodation for a data/charging cable. Additionally, a small tweak will be made to ensure the phone fits comfortably within the stand without compromising its delicate camera hump. Despite initial attempts to conceal it, I ended up exposing some rough edges during testing and modeling.
