The Magma Mollusk! Very much inspired by the scaly foot gastropod that exists in the deep ocean living around the hot vents that exist there. That animal uses iron that it collects from its environment to create metallic armor that it uses to shield itself from the heat and predators. This creature being in a fantasy setting obviously takes that to the extreme, being practically immune to fire damage, and making it's home in and around lava flows making snacks out of the newly formed minerals there.
