Maglite XL50 flashlight clip for gun sight rail
thingiverse
My son and his friends enjoy air-soft battles during day and night, necessitating a flashlight attachment for nighttime games. To achieve this, we designed a clip on SketchUp that secures a Maglite XL-50 LED flashlight onto any MIL-STD-1913 sight rail. The clip's firm grip ensures it stays put without slipping and holds the flashlight tightly as well. I printed the design using generic transparent ABS filament, which enhances its visibility in photos. Printing specifications include 0.2mm layers, no raft or brim, 25% infill, avoiding crossing perimeters, and a 0.5mm retraction on layer change. The clip required no post-print cleanup. Unfortunately, I didn't save the SketchUp file for this project.
