Made this so that I could throw my Maglite in my backpack without having to worry about scratching the lens. Very Specific first world problem. The ID is 25.7mm so that it is a push fit on the end. You can pull it off or twist. It is long enough that it goes all the way to the textured section. The OD of my Maglite AA was 25.4mm.
